Greenhouse Structure- CropKing's greenhouse frames are made of galvanized steel.
· Freestanding Unit- Gothic shape with a peak in the center for the higher strength in the snow load areas ( 15 lb snow load). It is rated for a 80 mph wind load. This unit has arches on 4' spacing with ground stakes, couplers, five purlins, wind braces, connectors, hardware and 2 x 4 end wall brackets for attaching the end wall studs. Black vapor barrier, embossed steel clad entrance door with aluminum casing with blueprints included.

· Gutter Connect Unit- Frame of galvanized steel, with 8' high extruded aluminum gutter, column posts on 8' centers, bows on 4' centers, three purlins, wind braces, connecting hardware, also includes QuickLock poly lock for attaching covers to gutters. Embossed steel clad entrance door with aluminum casing included (one door for up to 4 bays). Black vapor barrier with blueprints included. Rated for a 20 lb snow load and 90 mph wind load. (10' high gutters are available for connecting to a tomato unit for an additional cost.)

Greenhouse Covering- Includes two layers of 4-year greenhouse film with an air inflation fan for an insulating layer of air between the two covers. Aluminum cover locks for cover attachment on the end arches and the perimeter. For the cooling end wall(typically the south end) CropKing includes 8mm solar grade polycarbonate with the necessary "H" and "U" channel and Tek screw fasteners. The North end wall covering is not included and we recommend that this wall be insulated and sided with the customer's choice of material.

Cooling System- CropKing uses the fan and pad cooling method. A Glacier-Cor Evaporative Wet Wall Pad, including self-contained water distribution system(no sump tank needed) is on the south end of the house. The cooled air is pulled through the house and is exhausted on the North end via American CoolAir exhaust fans (2) per bay or unit including slant wall housing, fan guards, aluminum shutters, motors and necessary hardware.

Power Vent Door- When the fan switch on an automatic vent door with aluminum extruded framing, gear driven motor with limit switch opens on the south end of the house. It is covered with polycarbonate and included the related hardware. The opening and closing of Power Vent door controlled by the iGrow 1400 environmental control system.

Air Circulating System- Jet fan system(one per unit) with motorized intake shutter, houseing, heat inlet kit, and hardware. Pre-punched poly air tube runs the length of the house. Supoort wire and tube hangers are included.

Overhead Unit Heaters- Each bay or unit includes two Modine PDP High Efficiency unit heaters (10 year limited warranty) with 180 degree rotating power exhauster and aluminized steel heat exchanger and burner. Galvanized steel heater hangers are included.

Computerized Environmental Controls- iGrow 1400 control system with a on screen programming, power supply, 12 outlets, 12 LED status display indicators, temperature and humidity sensor. Unit is mounted on painted plywood, prewired to the electrical panel. The iGrow offers accurate operation of the cooling system, vents, irrigation, CO2 and lighting. With the addition of "slave units" the iGrow can be expanded allowing for separte environmental zone controls. For an additional $1095.00 a remote monitoring and programming software package allows the iGrow to be attached to a host computer. From the host computer, is it posible to store and download historical and realtime date as well as make programming changes. (See *iGrow Remote Access software below)

Electrical Panel- For ease of installation, CropKing supplies a pre-wired electrical panel tailored to the greenhouse. The panel includes 200 amp - 240 volt, single phase, 60 Hz, main breaker panel box with breakers, relay control panel, control relay, labeled terminal strip equipment connections, GFI receptacle, duplex receptacle mounted on a painted plywood board. The iGrow is programmed and mounted to the panel board for ease of start-up. Note: Please check with the local electric codes. Some codes require a UL listed panel and are available for an additional cost and are quoted on a per project basis.

NFT Lettuce System

CropKing NFT Growing Channel- 2 piece extruded PVC growing channels with base and removable pre-punched top caps. Two types of end caps: one solid, one spouted per channel with anti-drip drainage design. Holes in top cap are pre-punched on 8" centers.

Nutrition Delivery Return System- High efficiency circulation pump(s) and pump plumbing kits, main poly feed line with feeder tubes, punch, valves, filter, hardware and 4" opaque nutrient return system.

CropKing NFT Fertroller System- Pre-wired microprocessor with pH and EC control. Nutrient injector system and acid injector pump (pre-assembled, mounted and tested). 3 concentrate tanks and plumbing kits are also included.

Nutrient Tanks- U.V. stabilized plastic underground tanks may be deducted from package and purchased locally to save frieght (1000 gallon tank).

Nursery Seedling System- Lettuce nursery for seedlings- 2 white pvc nurseries and seedling trays to be located in the front of each bay.

NFT Support System- Gatorshield galvanized steel frame for supporting the growing channels and connecting hardware.

Testing and Miscellaneous Equipment- Myron AG-5 Conductivity DS Meter, TDS Conductivity Standard (1/2 pint) Fisher pH test kit, Sensaphone Model 1104, Sensaphone Remote Temperature Sensor, nutrient mixing pump, Mini-Max Thermometer(2), pocket sling psychrometer, white ground cover for floor under beds, auto vacuum seeder to eliminate hand seeding.

Growing Supplies- Hydroponic fertilizer recipes based on your water sample (an estimated one year supply). 1" Rockwool cubes and seeds (enough for your first three planting rotations) are included. Getting your fertilizer with your greenhouse shipment can help to save on frieght dollars.

Grow Lights and Control- 32 per unit, 1000w T30 AgroSun Halide Grow Lights with attached ballast and lens. 240v single phase lighting control electrical panel(s), light sensor and input module. Additional electrical service equipment will be required on a 4 bay or larger system.

CO₂ Enrichment and Control System- Johnson CO₂ generator, one per unit, electronic remote CO₂ monitor with control package pre-wired and programmed into the iGrow 1400 environmental controller.

Shade Cloth- 40% white exterior shade cloth including cable tie down kit and shade cloth quick clips. Note: 50% white shade is available at additional cost for deep south applications.

Insect Exclusion System- Extends the south end of the greenhouse by 8 ft. This additional 8' of greenhouse is covered with NO-Thrip Insect Screening. This "screen room" covers the power vent door and does not allow insects to be pulled through the wet wall into the greenhouse. An additional door is included for access into the extension for maintenance of the wet wall. Also included is an additional entrance door and air curtain to turn a customer supplied head house into an air-locked greenhouse entry reducing the chance of insects entering through the main entrance of greenhouse.

Steel Endwalls and Sidewalls- CropKing's galvanized structural steel endwall package includes 3 steel framed endwalls and 2 steel sidewall baseboards made of structural 1-1/2" x 3" galvanized C channel, aluminum brackets, hardware and additional end wall bracing and connecting hardware.
