COOL-N-KLEAN 1 Gallon

For water pipes, cool cell pads, and hard environmental surfaces. For use in poultry, swine, dairy, and greenhouse operations.

Cool-N-Klean is labeled for evaporative cooling pads and approved by pad manufacturers.

1. Turn off exhaust fans
2. Wet pads thoroughly using a low pressure power washer or water hose. Do NOT use high pressure or it will harm the pad
3. Combine 2 gallons of Cool-N-Klean with 10 gallons of water into a backpack/pump up sprayer
4. Spray mixture thoroughly onto entire pad and let sit for 1 hour
5. Spray with clean water from top to bottom, removing all mineral deposits and algae
6. To control the growth of algae, spray pads once a week at a rate of 1 ounce to 20 gallons of water during periods of heavy use

1. Turn off exhaust fans
2. Remove screen/cartridge from filter
3. Add 1-2 gallons of Cool-N-Klean to system storage tank and run for at least 1 hour until calcium and scale deposits are broken down
4. Using clean water, rinse pads thoroughly from top to bottom with a garden hose or low pressure power washer; Be sure not to use high pressure that could damage the pad
5. All mineral deposits and algae should be broken down and removed during this process
6. Empty the entire contents of the storage tank and refill with clean water
7. To control algae growth, add 2-4 ounces to the storage tank once per week during periods of heavy use

To extend the longevity and productivity of the pads, these cleaning procedures should be done once in the fall and again in the spring before summer use.
